I am a mature, enthusiastic individual, who enjoys keeping fit and healthy through regular exercise and sensible eating. I believe in maintaining good body form, whilst improving overall health and well-being and therefore life-expectancy.
I am very passionate about providing my clients with the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding of health and well-being, to enable them to achieve their goals and provide them with a new lease of life.
It is my belief that regular exercise sessions, along with good sensible eating habits, are the foundations of a healthy lifestyle. Nobody can look good by carrying out exercise alone if they dont eat properly. Nobody can look good from eating sensibly alone if they dont exercise. Exercise and diet form a combination that works together, enhancing health and well-being. There is no quick fix to looking good or feeling good about yourself, you have to make the necessary small changes that eventually become habits for life.
Personal Training sessions cover a range of fitness components with many added health benefits: for example, weight loss, which can reduce the everyday stresses, placed upon the body and thereby alleviate health problems such as asthma, high blood pressure and aching joints. Resistance training helps burn unwanted fat and tone up muscle to enhance the metabolism. Cardiovascular training improves blood circulation, the release of endorphins (happy hormones) and leads to regular bowel movements and the overall health of the heart and lungs, whilst flexibility can increase the range of motion of the joints.
